Milford Preservation Trust has just launched an Online Petition to save 67 Prospect Street, which is the original home lot of Rev. Peter Prudden, founder of the early Milford colony, as well as burying ground of the first Milford settlers.
The petition requests the developers not to demolish the c.1835 David Baldwin home, a contributing property of the National River Park Historic District, but rather preserve and restore it, and re-purpose it toward some suitable use. Also, to respect the property itself as both the original home of Milford’s founder, as well as an early burying ground.
